Drink Mates can be imprinted in either Portrait orientation or Landscape Orientation. In general, using Landscape orientation will result in a slightly larger imprint and for this reason is slighly more popular than Portrait orientation. Artwork which is circular is usually printed in Portrait orientation.

Because most people are right handed we normally print Landscape artwork on the Drink Mate with the cup holding ring on the right side. Right handed people generally hold their plates in their left hand keeping their right hand free for eating or drinking from the glass. For the most convenient access to the glass, the plate is normally held with the Drink Mate at approximately the 1:00 or 2:00 position, as shown above. With the plate in that position, an imprint with the cup holding ring on the right side would be right side up for the user. Conversely an imprint with the cup holding ring on the left side would appear upside down to the user.
